What This Means for Viewers
When a game receives the WATCHABLE status, it means StreamCaddy has confirmed that at least one of the viewer's active streaming subscriptions carries the network broadcasting this game in their DMA. The viewer can tune in live without any additional purchase or subscription change.
Common Causes
- The viewer subscribes to a live TV streaming service (e.g., YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV) that carries the broadcasting network in their DMA.
- The game is on a national broadcast (e.g., FOX, CBS, NBC) and the viewer has a service carrying that network.
- The game is a streaming exclusive (e.g., Amazon Prime Thursday Night Football) and the viewer has that service.
- The viewer has an out-of-market package (e.g., MLB.TV) and the game is not in their home DMA (no blackout).
